I have an admission to make, I love the Wilder Center in Wilder, VT. To me, it is the ultimate Vermont wedding venue! I’m also friends with the awesome woman who runs it.
The Wilder Center is a restored church in WIlder, VT conveniently located near Dartmouth College in New Hampshire.
The former Wilder Congregational Church underwent a full restoration in 2010 and has been transformed into the Charles T. Wilder Center, the Upper Valley’s premier event space for music events, weddings, classes, and private parties. A stunning combination of 19th century architecture and 21st century technology, Wilder Center is the perfect location for your next event.
The Wilder Center Is An Awesome Wedding Venue!
There are a lot of places in Vermont to get married but The Wilder Center is the best because of the location and the incredible stained glass. The multiple sets of gorgeously restored stained glass make for incredible lighting regardless of the time of day which means that you don’t have to worry about waiting until the golden hour to get great shots of your wedding. Lighting is probably one of the most overlooked yet important things to think about when choosing a wedding venue. Good lighting means great wedding photos! The location in southern Vermont very convenient to interstate 91 and even Amtrak!
You don’t even have to wait until your wedding to experience the Wilder Center because the event center offers everything from Yoga classes to movies.
